I watched the whole World Series and some of the games leading up to it. I'm not a baseball fan but my sister is so I didn't have a choice. There's a lot of spitting in baseball. I was hoping they would travel back to SF to finish the series but alas that was not to be.
There's also a lot of crotch-grabbing in baseball, it seems…
I know sports is not a big deal and it's actually something I grew up hating. But as time has gone on I started enjoying playing football as a teen- just in P.E. and the "street"- not on real teams. Anyway the 49ers were sort of the leaders there and in the 80s they became pretty faboo. But these Giants are more like "Davids" than "Goliaths" and I have to admit both PLC and I have been loving this season and the last three. Yeah there's a lot of spit and crotch-adjusting but there's as much drama as in a lot of the arts. I have to say it's an acquired taste. That I know first hand.
I think there's a lot of spitting and crotch grabbing in baseball simply because for most of the time they are idle. Being idle brings about vice, at least that's what they told us in those catholic run schools back then.
